00:00Today this means a lot to my people, you know, it's a day that other people celebrate mass
00:17genocide, you know, babies being taken from their homes, but to us it's a day of mourning.
00:21I'm Aboriginal and my family was stolen generation and I'm here for my aunts and uncles and my
00:28mother and my grandparents. I've come here to show solidarity with the Indigenous people
00:32of Australia, the First Nations people, the reason being is that it's been over 200 years
00:38of genocide in this country. It's more than celebrating our culture, it's about everything
00:49we've been through as a people and continuing that on now for our Djaadjins who are essentially
00:54going to be, yeah, the forefront, they're going to be our leaders.
