पठानकोट, पंजाब: आज सुबह नगर निगम पठानकोट के दफ्तर में उस समय हड़कंप मच गया जब दफ्तर में मौजूद चौकीदार ने नगर निगम के रिकॉर्ड रूम में आग की लपटें देखी। इसके बाद उसने तुरंत अपनी उच्च अधिकारियों और दमकल विभाग को सूचना दी। मौके पर पहुंची दमकल विभाग की तीन गाड़ियों ने आग पर काबू पाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन जब तक आग पर नियंत्रण पाया जाता, रिकॉर्ड रूम जलकर राख हो चुका था। प्रारंभिक जांच में आग लगने का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट बताया जा रहा है। वहीं निगम अधिकारी सुमन ने बताया, "आग शॉर्ट सर्किट के कारण लगी, जिसके कारण रिकॉर्ड रूम में रखा पूरा रिकॉर्ड जलकर खाक हो गया।"
