00:00I think this is the first film we are really promoting.
00:09Yeah.
00:10So, I think it's been great fun, yeah, we get to meet lots of people.
00:17Yeah.
00:18Yeah, I think this is the first time I'm really doing interviews properly.
00:24So it is a different experience, I think.
00:27Because this one's a theatrical, it's a bit different also for us.
00:31But I think it's equally as exciting as it is stressful.
00:35So yeah, I think we can just wait and hope for the best.
00:39No, I feel that my character in Loveyappa is actually further away from my own personality
00:56compared to like, say, Maharaj, for instance.
00:59But it's been fun.
01:03I think as actors, we can live vicariously through our characters.
01:09So I enjoyed myself a lot.
01:15I don't think I see it as like a social responsibility, but I think it's more us doing justice to
01:22our characters than looking at it as a message that we need to emphasize on.
01:29I think that kind of goes hand in hand.
01:33I think it's just about telling a story truthfully.
01:36Unlearnings, I don't think there are any unlearnings, so to speak.
01:46I mean, I normally like to take the lead from the director and Advaith has a knack for getting
01:53fantastic performances from everybody, actually.
01:58And I think I've seen in all his films.
02:03So yeah, I think, yeah, I don't know if there's any unlearning.
02:06I think it's always, you're always learning new things and figuring out how many unlearnings.
02:13No, I don't think that each director has a different process.
02:19So I don't think it's about unlearning, but I think it's about being able to surrender
02:22each time and do it differently every time.
02:27So I think that's fun and challenging in a way.
02:32But yeah, I think it's more about just letting yourself just be free and give in to the whole
02:38process of it.
02:44No, I think he gave us a lot of freedom to explore and find the characters.
02:48I think when we were reading, we would first read it how we would interpret it and then
02:54kind of hear his notes and then do it based off of what he kind of saw it as as well.
03:02So I think initially, he also wanted to see how we would approach it and then get another
03:07fresh sense of perspective and then accordingly give his notes.
03:10Yeah, and he likes to, I think he does like to like find it a little bit.
03:14So we'd like go to different places, try different things.
03:19Yeah, we rehearsed for about five, six weeks.
03:22Yeah.
03:23It was good fun.
03:24And there is a beauty in spontaneity as well.
03:27And I think he knows that so a lot of the things that would happen in shoot, especially
03:33with Ashutosh sir, I think were improvised with him.
03:36And it would make for a really good, a really good scene because it would spark a very genuine
03:42response from all of us.
03:43So I think he was very open to trying new things.
03:51Yeah, I think acting is acting.
03:53But there are technical differences between the two, which is about getting used to.
03:57I mean, I've done a little bit of stage.
04:02This would be the third film I shot, actually.
04:04So yeah, I think I'm settling into it a little bit.
04:08I don't know.
04:09We'll see.
04:10Watch the film and let me know.
04:17I like to leave that responsibility to the director and the writers.
04:22Yeah, I think we are just vessels.
04:24Yes.
