00:00Celtic are through to the knockout stages of the Champions League after a dramatic night here in Glasgow.
00:07They defeated Swiss champions Young Boys 1-0 thanks to an 86-minute home goal from Loris Benito.
00:14That only tells half the story really. Celtic lived on a knife edge at times.
00:19They had three first-half goals disallowed from Kyoko Furuhashi, missed a penalty through Arna Engels
00:24and then had to rely on a superb double save from Kasper Schmeichel when the score was at 0-0 to maintain their hopes.
00:31And they finally broke down stubborn Swiss resistance when Benito unfortunately turned past into his own net
00:37after Marvin Keller had saved a shot from Adam Ida.
00:41Results went Celtic's way elsewhere. Both Danilo Zagreb lost the big important while PSG and Man City,
00:49there was a winner there, PSG won 4-2 and that meant that Celtic are in an unassailable position
00:54going into their final match on the tournament and that is against Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
00:59A win actually in Birmingham coupled with an odds-against set of results elsewhere
01:03would mean Celtic have actually qualified directly for the last 16 games of the top eight.
01:07Baby steps though you would say. Celtic have finally got over the line.
01:11At stages here it looked like they weren't going to break down Young Boys
01:14but the maturity of his team and the persistence finally paid off.
01:19One sour moment, maybe two sour moments the first one.
01:22Dyson Maida was sent off late on for kicking out at Mohamed Kamara.
01:26He'll miss the trip to Birmingham.
01:28And then you've also got the story that's just broken in surrounding Kyoko Furuhashi.
01:32The Japanese striker is reportedly on his way to French side Rennes for 10 million euros.
01:38That's all from Celtic Park. I'm finished here. 1-0 to the Glasgow Stadium.
