Mahmoud Abu Dalfa walked among the destruction in Gaza City's Shejaia neighbourhood, in hope of finding the bodies of his family members who remain trapped under the rubble of their destroyed house.

The 40-year-old chef lost his wife and five children, who were among 35 people killed in Israeli airstrikes on their building in December 2023.
