00:00We have 300 vans that will be deployed here in Kelang Bali and also in Pulau Pinang.
00:16This is a new effort to make it easier for the users.
00:21The last mile and the first mile will be easier.
00:25The users will be able to use the app to call the van.
00:30It will be easier to get back to the existing RRT or MRT.
00:342025 is an exciting year for us.
00:41MOS has given us a big boost.
00:45First of all, this year's students will receive an additional 300 vans.
00:53300 new vans for the first and last mile.
00:57In addition, MOS has agreed to provide us with 310 new buses.
01:07The last batch of diesel buses and 250 EV buses.
01:15There will be an additional 560 buses this year to replace the fleet in Kelang.
01:27We will see an increase in the number of buses compared to before.
01:33The waiting time will be less than 10 minutes.
01:38The journey to the station will take less than 10 minutes.
01:42The waiting time from the house to the station will take up to 10-20 minutes.
01:48Right now, we already have 4,000 ridership, even with just 110 vans.
01:55With an additional 300, we are targeting 36,000.
02:02Of course, this is still a small number compared to our overall ridership of rail in KL.
02:09Our rail ridership in KL right now is already hitting 1 million a day.
02:13The official price is only RM1.
02:18Right now, it is being promoted for free if you hold on past May 50.
02:24These 300 vans will be delivered by June.
02:27As of today, we have already delivered 110.
02:30In another 3 months, there will be another 190 to go.
02:34Every other week, we are adding vans to the service.
02:38Out of these 300, 250 in KL, 50 will be deployed to Penang.
02:42To purchase a van, it is RM180,000.
02:46That does not include our operating expenditure.
02:49We need three drivers per van.
02:51They are booking on three shifts a day.
02:53Because of this particular service, we are adding almost 1,000 new drivers.
02:58Of course, it creates jobs.
03:00At the same time, we see that as an important investment by the government towards public transport.
03:07Hopefully, this will encourage even more people to take public transport.
03:11One of the key things that was a complaint was first and last mile.
03:15With the adding of the DRTs, we are expanding where the pick-ups for the passengers will be.
03:22We are making it easier for passengers to take public transport.
03:26And because we are using an app, you book for it to come and you can predict the time.
03:32So, the predictability will encourage more people to use the public transport.
03:39That's the missing link that we have at the moment.
