00:00After his colorful junior swimming career,
00:04the one who is waiting for the Filipino tanker,
00:07Micaela Jasmine Mojde,
00:09is now a part of the training pool
00:11of the Philippine Seniors National Swimming Team.

00:22From being one of the best junior swimmers in the country,
00:27the Filipino tanker, Micaela Jasmine Mojde,
00:31is now a part of the training pool
00:34of the Philippine Seniors National Swimming Team.
00:37When will Mojde receive a letter
00:41from the Philippine Sports Commission
00:43to officially inform him that he is now a part of the country?
00:47This means that there will be more competition
00:51for the 18-year-old tanker.
00:54Despite this, Mojde did not feel any pressure.
00:59For me, it's not that big of a deal.
01:03I'm already used to swimming with the older swimmers,
01:09with the seniors,
01:11since I can compete with them in the nationals.
01:15So more or less, I'm already used to it.
01:19I'm happy because it's my first time.
01:22I'm the younger one,
01:24and I have somebody to look up to.
01:26So it's okay.
01:27According to Mojde,
01:28this is just the beginning of his dream
01:31to compete in the prestigious international sports meet.
01:35My biggest goal for this year is to enter the SEA Games
01:40and hopefully win a medal.
01:41That's what I'm really aiming for this year.
01:45Since I was 14,
01:48I really wanted to enter the SEA Games.
01:52I was just a kid.
01:54That was my stepping stone for the Olympics.
01:59It's a huge accomplishment for me
02:03because I'm one step closer to my goal.
02:07Aside from his national team duties,
02:10Mojde is also expected to compete
02:13in the US NCAA
02:15as a student athlete of the University of Southern California.
