00:52when former President Rodrigo Duterte

00:56and Davao 3rd District Representative Isidro Ungab

00:59passed a discrepancy in the national budget

01:02that was not complete enough to make a blank cheque

01:05that could be paid for.

01:07In the history of the entire Philippines,

01:11the GAO is not allowed to have an item

01:17that does not state what the project is and what the expenses are.

01:26President Rodrigo Duterte and Davao 3rd District Representative Isidro Ungab

01:29did not allow the public to look at the website of the Department of Budget and Management

01:32to prove that the information provided is false.

01:37First, the palace denied the spread and manipulation of fake news or misinformation of Duterte

01:44that is malicious and should be condemned as a criminal act.

01:48Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said

01:51that the Congress and the DBM studied more than 4,000 pages of the national budget.

01:58The government assured that there is no project, program, or activity

02:04that has no fund before the law was passed.

02:07The palace called on Duterte's camp

02:10to be responsible for their actions

02:13and to avoid spreading false information.

02:17The DBM clarified that the pages were leaked

02:21from the Bicameral Conference Committee Report and not from the General Appropriations Bill.

02:26The agency urged the public to be careful, watch and verify the information

02:32before sharing or spreading it on social media sites.
