00:00Australia know you, William.
00:02Yes, Australia know you.
00:04It is great to be back here at Tomago.
00:06This is my third visit to Tomago
00:08because this is
00:10such an important facility.
00:12And essentially it's about people.
00:14It's about the jobs that are created here.
00:16Up to a thousand
00:18direct jobs, but when you look at this
00:20local community, there's
00:225,000 jobs
00:24depend on this facility, just locally.
00:26But more importantly
00:28than that, it's the tens of
00:30thousands of jobs throughout Australia
00:32that depend on us
00:34being able to make things here.
00:36I'll speak a lot
00:38about building Australia's future.
00:40This is what a future
00:42made in Australia looks like.
00:44Us taking the products
00:46that come out of the ground in Weeper
00:48at the Borgsite mine,
00:50making sure that work
00:52occurs at Gladstone, and
00:54then the final product comes
00:56out here at Tomago.
00:58That is what having control
01:00over the supply chain
01:02looks like, and this is a great
01:04example here. Now we need
01:06to make sure that just
01:08as Tomago has produced
01:10this incredible quality
01:12aluminium
01:14for 40 years,
01:16it can continue for the next 40
01:18years and beyond.
