00:00This is an area that has got so much potential. It's been neglected. It used to be a mine,
00:15but now it's a habitat for birds. It's picturesque. It's tranquil. It could be a wonderful community
00:24asset that's just been forgotten. It's right in the centre of Whitebridge. It's in this
00:29crucial area between a major high school and the family track. It could serve as a
00:36wonderful link between this for all the community at Whitebridge High and also it could be a
00:43highlight of the family track. It could be the jewel in the crown for the family track.
00:48It's enormously frustrating. Crownlands, I think in good faith, did this public consultation,
00:54but then there was no interest from council. There was no plan or coordination between
01:02the public bodies. It just seemed like they were living in separate silos. The plan has
01:07stopped this. There's no way forward that we can see. It's time that the council, Crownlands
01:15and Transport NSW, got in the same space and made some long-term decisions because this
01:21is an opportunity that will be lost if this land is sold off for housing before consideration
01:27of value of it as a transport.
