00:22President Ferdinand R. Marcos jr. Has ordered the Department of Budget and Management to restore the 400 million pesos

00:32This was the president's directive during his meeting at Malacanang with the DOD and the government's economic managers

00:39According to the president it is essential to continue strengthening the country's image

00:43Especially on the international stage following the historic achievements of Filipino artists and athletes

00:50The president noted that this is a way to recognize the contributions of Filipinos

00:54Toward the betterment of the country the DOT agreed with the president's statement

00:59Emphasizing that the fund is a significant boost in promoting the country according to the DOT

01:04Insufficient funding could affect its campaign projects resulting in lower

01:08Engagements fewer trade and consumer activation opportunities and lack of global media placements

01:13The funds are targeted to be sourced from the contingency fund of the office of the president

01:18The DOT also reported to the president that international visitor receipts reached
