00:00The National Maritime Council also condemned China's continued and illegal presence of ships in the Philippines' Exclusive Economic Zone.
00:09The NMC pointed out China's Chinese Coast Guard Boat No. 5901 and CCG 3304,
00:17which illegally entered Bajo de Masinloc, or the 70 to 90 nautical miles of Zambales, on January 5 and 10.
00:27The NMC also condemned the movement of the People's Liberation Army Navy helicopter
00:33on the Philippine Coast Guard's ship that carried out a peaceful exercise in the Philippine Ocean.
00:40According to the NMC, it is clear that China did this in violation of the Philippine Maritime Zones Act,
00:461982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and 2016 Arbitral Ruling.
00:53Because of this, the Philippines is in the midst of a diplomatic protest against China.
