00:00I feel it will keep happening. I think in any industry with someone who has grown up
00:09in that industry, there will always be some favouring but at the end of the day, no one
00:14can give you longevity, no one can give you that level of stardom that only audiences
00:22can give you. Your name can take you to some point but it's based on your skill, your talent,
00:32how much hard work you put into your craft and I think it's everyone's game now.
00:39The world has changed now.
00:46I think it happens in every industry.
00:49In Hollywood and Bollywood, it's mostly shown in newspapers or in news channels.
00:55I would say it happens in business in any form but this industry may be a little different
01:03because it's not always based on your credentials and slowly it is, I mean with OTT, it is changing.
01:12There are a lot of actors who are acting in the lead roles of TV shows and it's a great
01:19time for people who probably didn't have a chance say 5 years ago, 6 years ago.
01:30It depends on the filmmaker or the content, whatever, I think it depends on the producer.
01:37I feel originality is always connected with truth and honesty in your work.
01:45The audiences who are making it, maybe the originality is less in that.
01:50For people who are doing it for themselves and who are putting all their truth in it,
01:56then that's what I feel I connect with.
02:00So, I wouldn't say there is a lull in the originality.
02:07I think some people just do it more for the audiences, others do it more for themselves.
02:17It's an effort but you also have to realize that there can be something different in every character.
02:25You can find that by putting yourself in it and not feeling that you are doing a role
02:33that is very similar to the previous one, so now I have to fall into the same thing
02:37and do it the same way.
02:39I think the real actors, the true artists are the people who can find the same kind
02:46of role, same kind of world but still do it in a different way because they are looking
02:52at it as a separate entity and that's what I try to do.
03:01No one has more than the other, I feel.
03:06I think that again, it depends on the director, it depends on the project.
03:12I think there are some directors here who are very open and spontaneous compared to
03:18other directors over there and vice versa.
03:21I don't think there is one industry that does it more.
03:28I am so very grateful for all the love and support I have been getting for Ayaan.
03:34Before that, we lost Rohan Bhatia in Kahaan and before that,
03:38Rocky and Rani in Made in Heaven.
03:41So, whoever has been with me since day one, a big big thank you for being on my journey
03:46and a lot more is yet to come, so stay tuned.
