00:00The Thunder and the Cavs, Thunder were on a 15 game winning streak, Cavs were on a 10 game winning streak, both teams the best in the league, 129-122, Cavs get it done, they win their 11th in a row, they snap the Thunder streak, you know, Cleveland, you know, they didn't get a big night out of Donovan Mitchell, I'll talk about that in a moment, but they got a little bit from everybody, 25 from Allen, 21 from Mobley, and 18 from Garland who put the game away late on ESPN.
00:27Wallace, very aggressive on Garland, who's holding it, Garland pulls back, 7 on the 24, Garland the drive, it's up, it's good, timeout, OKC, it's a 7 point lead.
00:44Listen, I watched the game with my son, I thought it was terrific, I thought it was, you know, as good as it can get for a regular season game, at the end of the day, that really doesn't matter, I mean, let's face facts, it was just the biggest game in the league in years of big games that don't matter, all that matters in the NBA is the playoffs, that's it, there's nothing else that matters, this is all a way, they run a business, OK, they are running a business to make money,
01:11so every night, why do you think they play so many games? Because they run a business to make money, and, you know, sell tickets and sell concessions and sell clothes and everything else, they run a business, so these games are meaningless to everyone, and then they play in the playoffs and everything ratchets up and it matters, but that game was as good as it gets last night, and I, again, will say it, the best player on the floor was Hardenstein,
01:37I mean, that guy, busting his ass on the glass on both ends, having a 18-11 and 8 dimes, are you kidding me? This is what this guy used to do for the Knicks, I can't even believe, because he made a boatload of money in Oak City, he should have made even more, I think this guy is worth way more money than he earns, and I have never seen a guy in my life his size,
02:07hit that floater, this guy hits the floater from the lane and from the sides of the lane, I have never seen a guy on the baseline or in the middle of the lane hit a floater as good as him, it's a teardrop and it goes down every single time.
02:22It does a really good job with it, that's for sure, quickly, let's hear from Donovan Mitchell, had a bad night, only 11 points, shot 3 for 6 on the floor, but he said, this was a different type of Cavs win.
02:34It just speaks to our growth, I told everybody after the game, we don't, as a unit, we don't win this game last year, you look at J.A., you look at Evan, you look at D.G., Max, Karis, Ty Jerome, George, everybody, Dean Wade, everybody that came in, you know, did something positive to affect the game, whether it was scoring, rebounding, defending, whatever it may be, and that's a team win, that's what it's going to take for us to be the team we want to be, and honestly, man, like, that's a big win, you know, I think we're all excited about it,
03:03and obviously, like I said, yeah, this is, you know, one game and no championships or one tonight, but it's something to be proud of.
03:10Listen, I'm going to say this real quickly, Jimmy Butler would have asked to be traded if he had 11 points in a game like that, and it wasn't all about him, look at this guy, Donovan Mitchell, who did nothing in that game, talk about every single one of his teammates that contributed and did something, and he was okay with who he was in that role, he was okay not having a game, he just wanted to win,
03:32and you don't see him complaining or crying or wanting to be traded, he is not a prima donna like this guy Butler, who's the pain in the ass.
