00:00All right, so, uh, the Pistons, uh, on Saturday night had a rough night with the refs, and
00:05their coach was having none of it after the game.
00:09He, he, he really wasn't.
00:11And remember, this has been building up, because we've played a couple times, Bickerstaff thinking
00:16that his young team does not get the same whistle as other teams.
00:22Uh, remember, I think it was against Indiana he had a problem, he had a problem against
00:25the Celtics.
00:26He's had problems a couple times with the refs.
00:28It kind of all came to a boiling point on Saturday night.
00:32We understand that we play a style of ball that's physical, it's on the edge, right?
00:36I coach my ass off with a passionate way.
00:38I'm into the games.
00:40Our players are into the games.
00:41We understand that, right?
00:43But we deserve a level of respect, because we're competing our tails off and bringing
00:48something positive to this league, right?
00:50We're growing young players.
00:51Our young players are competing their tail off.
00:54The least that they could do is get the same respect that everybody else in this league
00:58gets and get refereed the same way that everybody else in this league gets reffed.
01:03And enough is enough of it.
01:05And what you saw tonight was disgusting.
01:07It was a disgusting display of disrespect towards our guys and what we're trying to
01:11do.
01:12Is that it?
01:13Oh, he threw the stat sheet.
01:14Oh, he's scared.
01:15He's scared.
01:16He's just...
01:17Your boy.
01:18That is just terrific.
01:19Excuse me.
01:20How many times...
01:21I like him.
01:22You think he pounded the table a few more times?
01:28He just kept pounding that table as he was talking.
01:31We've seen a lot of table pounding lately on this show.
01:35We have seen that.
01:37Warriors, by the way, beat the Knicks on Saturday night.
01:40They are now 14-1 with Jimmy Butler.
01:44They don't lose.
01:45And they're undefeated on this homestand.
01:47I told you that when I said they'd go 6-1 at worst.
01:51And they're playing again tonight.
01:536-1.
01:54Playing again tonight.
01:55We'll give you those numbers in a moment.
01:57Now the Nuggets, remember they beat the Lakers Friday night, but they lost at home to the
02:00Wizards on Saturday night.
02:03Joker was asked after the game, do you guys just kind of turn it on or turn it off when
02:08there's bad teams or the playoffs?
02:10And Joker, he basically laid it down on a myth that's been talked about for a long time.
02:16I think who you are in the regular season, that's who you are in the playoffs.
02:20So I think you cannot flip the switch.
02:22I think that doesn't really exist, that kind of thing, that you can just flip the switch, so.
02:29Flip the switch.
02:30There you go.
02:31He don't believe it.
02:32I don't believe it either.
02:34Flip the switch.
02:35Yeah, there's only one team that I think flips the switch.
02:38As I told you, flicking the switch, ACDC style, it's the Celtics.
02:42They play when they want to.
02:45When they want to, they destroy anyone in the league.
02:49Like I said, Cleveland was down 25 to them at the Garden and beat them.
02:53So I have seen it all.
02:56I thought that Boston could flick a switch and beat anybody, and then to see them lose
03:01that day was all I needed to know that anything can happen in the NBA, particularly in a playoff
03:10setting because the league is a league of runs.
03:16That's all there is to it.
03:18If you watch a game in the NBA, all you're going to hear the play-by-play guys saying
03:21for the entire game is, they're on a 12-0 run.
03:25They're on a 9-0 run.
03:26They're on a 14-3 run.
03:29It's just a game of runs.
03:31That's all it is.
