Transcript
00:00Andy Ackers, first competitive game just a month or so away now, how are you looking
00:05forward to the new season?
00:06Yeah, brilliant mate, we've had a really good pre-season, it's been a real successful pre-season,
00:11we've been put through our paces, but like I said earlier mate, I feel like we're ready,
00:18we've had the work field, we've had the bewailer friendly, we've got Wigan in a couple of weeks
00:23for Ash on his testimonial and it's all about testing ourself, like I said we've had a real
00:28tough pre-season, not much rest days, but you're only going to get better by putting
00:33your body through them situations, so yeah, can't wait for game one against Wakefield.
00:37And this is obviously your second season at Leeds, are you feeling a little bit more settled?
00:41Yeah, yeah, a lot more settled mate, yeah, like I said I spoke to you earlier before
00:45peak, last year personally for me it wasn't my best of years, but a lot of adversity on
00:52the way which we won't really go into, but yeah I'm feeling like I've educated myself
00:58and Brad's educated me and my team mates have educated me and it's all about learning, this
01:03game's all about learning, I'm 31 just turned, I feel like I'm in the prime of my career now
01:07and I feel like the fittest I've ever felt and it's all about going forward now, not looking
01:15in the past, it's about looking in the future and taking each day as it comes, each training
01:18session as it comes, each week as it comes and building as a squad and I feel like we've got
01:22that camaraderie and that chemistry with each other now and the new signings have come in
01:27brilliant and everyone's just really bought in with each other and I feel like it's becoming
01:32a really, really close friendship.
