00:00Hello, come and discover.
00:08This is a new version, X2, for new Dakar.
00:21This buggy is a two test hydrogen engine in severe condition.
00:28The engine and the system are made by engineers from Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Toyota.
00:40And the chassis is made by Overdrive, because together we are stronger.
00:46It's our second participation in Dakar Mission 1000.
00:52In 2024, we had a very good beginning, we achieved every stage.
01:02What was missing last year is maybe a range of kilometers totally.
01:07So we were struggling when it was a bit of dunes, a bit of climbing and stuff like that.
01:14But the rest was a very successful story already.
01:18So we changed the chassis, we cut the chassis in two pieces.
01:22We made a different car and we extended the capacity of hydrogen.
01:28Now I think we have seven kilos, seven and a half, something like this.
01:33On the normal stage, we can do around 150 kilometers.
01:39Now we increase, I don't know for how many percent, but we increase the performance of
01:43the car.
01:45The car will be faster and will be also more powerful.
01:53The hydrogen is the future, because hydrogen is simple.
01:58You have available a lot of hydrogen.
02:01The main goal, what we are doing, is a combustion engine we don't have.
02:05And this is why we struggle and we try in Dakar to improve the small vehicles, to do
02:11it exactly the proposed for the future, be more safety for us.
02:19Last year is very, very grateful for us, because we finished Dakar and for us is a big, big,
02:24big goal.
02:25It's some brand new technological we don't know exactly, but day by day we're learning
02:33a lot.
02:34And I think this year we're going to get more feedback of the evolution of the engine and
02:39the proposed why we are doing.
