00:00The foreign and defense ministries will be liaising with the Egyptian government to facilitate
00:06the return of the Palestinians who had been brought to Malaysia for medical treatment,
00:10government spokesman Fahmy Fazil said.
00:30Fahmy was asked to comment on a video reporting which has since gone viral,
00:39showing a group of Palestinians housed at Wisma Transit in Kuala Lumpur
00:43vandalizing the place in protest. Some were seen gathering at Wisma Transit's lobby,
00:48holding signs that read, hunger strike and also set bedsheets on fire.
00:53On August 16th, 2024, a total of 127 Palestinians and their family members
00:58arrived in Malaysia aboard two RMAF A400M aircraft.
