00:00Look at how a garbage dump is formed here in the corner of 230, there was a very large garbage dump
00:11and after the cyclone Rafael it increased, it covered all that street of 230 and well, that was reported
00:19by the independent press and protests of the neighbors and they sent to clean that garbage dump and
00:26many more garbage dumps that were in Germanita and Germanita was momentarily clean but they have
00:32already started again to pour, the collection cycle is not fulfilled, so here we are going to see
00:41if a garbage dump is starting, we are going to monitor it, see how it grows, develops, evolves,
00:47here we have a president of the community, Luis Machado, what do you think of garbage,
00:53specifically this garbage dump that has been around for years? As the cycle lengthens and there are no garbage tanks to collect the garbage,
01:03everyone starts to throw it on the floor and so it grows, let's see now how long it lasts,
01:08the other day it was here for more than a month and all that, and that is also what is expected,
01:14inverters and that for the houses, they can cause diseases, diarrhea and everything.
01:19You who worked in the fumigation brigade and were aware of the fight against inverters,
01:25how is that work being developed at the moment and what do you think if they give solutions to the problems?
01:31At the moment, the work of eradicating the inverters is complicated because there is no product, there is nothing good,
01:41it is not being fumigated, for more than three years it has not been eradicated,
01:46that is, things are getting worse with the hygiene.
01:51So yes, we can have a lot of hygiene, or try to have a lot of hygiene inside the house,
01:55but if the community outside is like that, it also has nothing to do with it,
02:00they blame the population, but if you don't have a place to throw it, you don't have a collector,
02:04you don't have a car to pick it up, the population doesn't have a big fault either,
02:09and that is where all the diseases come from.
02:13But hey, the population pays for it.
02:15What you were saying, it is not being fumigated, but they are not visiting the house, the autofocus.
02:21No, no, if there are no people who do not want to work, there are no workers,
02:25there is no stimulation, they have nothing, there is no incentive for them to work.
02:31So that is what is happening, with all the payments that are being made online,
02:38and that there is no money, and that there is no this, who wants to work,
02:41how are you going to buy if you don't have an incentive in hand?
02:44I don't know, things go like this, they go like this, and you have to be realistic.
02:49We are not doing well at all.
02:51And we come to 2025, and well, the garbage seems to be going to continue.
02:57The tradition is to throw away the old ones that are in the house and throw away the water and everything,
03:01but it seems that we are not getting in with the old ones,
03:04we are getting in with the old ones, it has been a good time.
03:07It is not even the 31st anymore.
03:10Likewise, here we see that this garbage has already started,
03:13in a few days it will surely hit the street,
03:15if the necessary measures are not taken so that the collection cycles are met
03:22and the surveillance of the garbage is maintained.
03:27Here we will have another show that causes a lot of discomfort to the population of Jaimanita,
03:34and that is a problem that extends throughout Havana and possibly beyond.
