00:00One of them is the Submersible Drone that was recovered by fishermen in Masbate last December.

00:21Angelic, the Forensic Analysis of the Submersible Drone that was recovered by fishermen

00:29in Masbate last month.

00:32It is now in the care of the Philippine Navy after a PNPB call was turned over

00:38where the Submersible Drone was first given,

00:41as the origin of the drone.

00:47The analysis will examine the object's physical structure, electronic components,

00:52power source, and any possible stored data.

00:59In the initial observation, the drone is yellow,

01:03and there is also a red and orange color that is possible to be used

01:06for scientific research and fish tracking.

01:09But all angles will be thoroughly examined by the Navy, including the military component.

01:17Equipment such as this are used for gathering bathymetric data

01:22such as water temperature, the depth of water, and salinity.

01:28As mentioned, the AFP is on top of the situation and taking this seriously.

01:34A lot of speculation has been going on,

01:37but let me state that speculation is no substitute for evidence.

01:46This is not the first time that the Navy has recovered a drone in our ocean.

01:51Last August, a sea drone was also found in the lower part of the country.

01:56In September, a humanoid drone was also found.

02:01And Angelique, Senator Francis Tolentino has already issued a resolution

02:05to investigate the Submersible Drone that was found in Masbate.

02:11Yes, Patrick.

02:12In the first drone that you mentioned,

02:16were there any similarities to the new drone that they found?

02:27Angelique, the Navy's comprehensive report continues

02:31on the first drones that were found last year.

02:38These drones that were found in Masbate will be used for forensic analysis

02:43for six to eight weeks.

02:46But from the Navy's point of view,

02:48they are looking at a bigger picture

02:51when it comes to recovering these types of drones in our country.

03:01or are they just found floating in the ocean?

03:13The Philippine Navy has assets,

03:15the Armed Forces of the Philippines,

03:17that patrol different parts of the country,

03:20not only in the West Philippine Sea,

03:21but also in the other parts of the Philippines.

03:24And Angelique, the Philippine Navy is thankful

03:26to the fishermen who saw these drones.

03:29And these Filipino fishermen,

03:31they are their bodyguards in protecting our territory.

03:34That's why the Navy or AFP is thankful to them.
