00:19MACC Malacca headquarters in Alai on Monday for investigation into a crime allegedly committed
00:25two years ago. MACC Malacca Director Adi Supian Shafi confirmed the arrest. The Ayer
00:31Kero Magistrates' Court granted the remand order until January 13. The case is being
00:37investigated under Section 17, Subsection A of the MACC Act 2009, which provides for
00:44a fine of at least five times the bribe amount, or 10,000 ringgit, whichever is higher and
00:50up to 20 years' imprisonment.
