00:12The Malacca Sessions Court imposed a fine of 30,000 ringgit each on the 26-year-old
00:17Teo and 19-year-old Keong after their guilty plea on Friday.
00:22The duo offered 60,000 ringgit in cash to a senior police officer to avoid action taken
00:27against them for their involvement in a non-existent investment scheme.
00:32The offence took place in front of a supermarket in Simpang Ampat at 1.15pm on June 1, 2023.
00:40They were jointly charged for offering gratification to conceal an offence.
00:45The duo paid the fines after Friday's trial.
00:47The fine was imposed in default six months' jail time.
