00:31our devotees continue to come here to the Minor Basilica

00:35and National Shrine of St. Jesus of Nazareth in Quiapo, Manila.

00:44makes it difficult for us to enter the Church

00:49and listen to the Holy Mass.

00:52Most of them are from faraway places.

00:54Their prayers and wishes are very strong.

01:02he went straight to Quiapo Church to attend the worship service.

01:05MJ is from America and has been working there for more than 20 years.

01:10He has been a devotee of St. Jesus of Nazareth for more than two decades.

01:16his first destination is the Church of Quiapo

01:18because he is very thankful to God.

01:21His brothers, Mrs. Sol and Mrs. Minda,

01:24are from Plaridel, Bulacana.

01:27They have been devotees of St. Jesus of Nazareth for six decades.

01:31They are also used to worship in Quiapo Church

01:37and are thankful for the blessings they receive.

01:46The mass in Quiapo Church is held from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. every hour.

01:53According to the Manila Police District,

01:55800 devotees attended the worship service in Quiapo earlier this morning.

01:59Meanwhile, the MPD for the nearest police station is now all systems go.

02:04The security around the Church is still tight.

02:08More than 14,000 police and augmented security personnel

02:12are deployed on the day of the translation.

02:14The force from the Police Regional Office 3 and 4A,

02:19Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology,

02:22MMDA and Manila LGU are also included.

02:25The gun ban will also be enforced from tomorrow, January 8 to January 11.

02:30The liquor ban will also be enforced from tomorrow, 9 p.m. to January 10.

02:35Classes will be suspended for all those who attend the mass

02:38according to the Malacananga Directive.

02:41Last year alone, 6 million devotees attended the translation
