00:00In the meantime, we expect to feel this week the increase of vacationers in Baguio City for the Holy Week and Summer Vacation.

00:10When the authorities check, there is tight security and there are new activities that tourists can enjoy.

00:23Baguio City is known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

00:28That's why it is a favorite destination for tourists every time the summer season and Holy Week ends.

00:35From Manila, Jomie's aunt will have an early birthday celebration.

00:40They chose Baguio City for their celebration because of its cool climate in the middle of the hot weather.

00:48Well, obviously, the scenery here in Baguio is really beautiful.

00:51So, I think everybody is welcome at any time, at any season.

00:55According to the City Tourism Office, the increase of tourists is felt this week.

01:01It is expected to reach 100,000 to 150,000 tourists who will visit the city until Holy Week.

01:12In April, it is expected to reach 250,000 tourists who will visit Baguio City.

01:31The City Tourism Office is also preparing activities that tourists can join.

01:38Food fairs will be held here in April 24.

01:42Various Cordillera dishes will be served.

01:45Sabsabong Timayo is also expected, where flowers will be planted in the city.

01:52There are also arts and creative activities such as Baguio Dance Festival and sports activities.

01:59You have to prepare for your trip.

02:03It's not sudden because there are a lot of activities.

02:07Especially during peak season like Holy Week, hotels and accommodation establishments will be full.

02:16More than 300 personnel of Baguio City Police Office will be on summer vacation.

02:22They will increase police visibility, especially in places of convergence.

02:28We hope that those who have bad intentions will be prepared.

02:36We are going to deploy our anti-theft teams, those who are in uniform and those who are in plain clothes.
