00:05Catherine? It's been an incredibly busy year for us. Now we've got stats to prove it. We have got
00:11stats to prove it, you may have seen our poster from our previous year's stats. Cool. But in 2024
00:19we've now got 11 members of staff. Yeah so what's the difference compared to last year then? So we've
00:24got an extra member of staff. We've got an extra member of staff. Go on reel off some figures as
00:28opposed to the previous year. So in... oh what have we done? We've had loads more visits. We know we've
00:38been busy because we've had lots of people coming in, we've had lots of events. 2023 we had 47,296
00:46people come in. In 2024 we had 50,104 which is amazing. So that's people coming to our groups,
00:56to our activities, it's class visits, it's all sorts of different things. I'm just looking you've got
01:03your events attended. So 2023 you had how many? In 2023 our events attended we had
01:14altogether 7,772 people. That's a mixture of adults and children. And last year we had 11,130
01:25which is absolutely amazing. That's like 40% plus isn't it? Yeah it's fabulous. That's crazy.
01:34We've got a lot of new groups now as well in the library. We've got Scrabble for Beginners,
01:38we've got a Backgammon which is really popular. We've got our Arts Talks as well. Well actually
01:44I'm just looking so 2023 you had 387 events. Last year 681 events. I mean you guys must just be
01:53shattered. But it's all the groups, sometimes people come in and like the Backgammon they look
01:59after themselves and we make them a drink. And you've got even more, you've got new reading
02:04groups starting up. We've got a new reading group starting up in February. We've got Enchanted Pages
02:10which is people who enjoy fantasy books and that's fantasy in its broadest sense. So it can be
02:17high fantasy, it can be dragons, dark fantasy, romanticy, anything. Romanticy, I like that.
02:23Anything that you like. Yeah. But yeah we all love dragons here. Yeah everyone loves a dragon.
02:28And I'm looking now, so those events I mean they've translated into books being rented out
02:33you know. When 2023 we've gone, how many books were issued 2023? In 2023 we had
02:4034,282 books taken out. But last year in 2024 we had an amazing 40,752. That's insane isn't it?
