प्रयागराज ( यूपी ) - प्रयागराज में शान से ऐतिहासिक श्री पंचायत महानिर्वाणी अखाड़ा की पेशवाई निकाली गई। इस पेशवाई में तकरीबन एक हज़ार से अधिक साधु-संत शामिल हुए । इस पेशवाई की शुरुआत बाघंबरी अखाड़े के सामने नवनिर्मित महानिर्वाणी अखाड़े के भवन से की गई। गौरतलब है कि ये अखाड़ा अपना ऐतिहासिक महत्व रखता है। इसकी स्थापना 805 विक्रम संवत में हुई थी और 8 संतो ने मिलकर इसकी स्थापना की थी। इस अखाड़े की शक्ति के प्रतीक इनके दो भाले हैं जिनका नाम सूर्य प्रकाश और भैरव प्रकाश है।
