दिल्ली: पीएम मोदी के दिल्ली में एक विश्वविद्यालय का नाम वीर सावरकर के नाम पर रखने के फैसले पर कांग्रेस राज्यसभा सांसद प्रमोद तिवारी ने कहा कि मैं विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना का स्वागत करता हूं लेकिन एक बात मुझे समझ नहीं आती है कि प्रधानमंत्री और बीजेपी हर चीज को लेकर विवाद पैदा क्यों करती है? दिल्ली के आसपास के क्षेत्र में वीर सावरकर जी की भूमिका नहीं रही है। अगर किसी स्वतंत्रता सेनानी के नाम पर विश्वविद्यालय का नाम करना ही था तो बहुत से ऐसे वीर रहे हैं जिनको फांसी हुई थी। और अगर किसी बड़े व्यक्ति के नाम पर रखना है तो हाल ही में पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह जी का निधन हुआ था, उनके नाम पर ही रख देते विश्वविद्यालय का नाम।
