00:24Johor Police Chief Commissioner Datuk M. Kumar reported that the 21 detainees, aged
00:30between 18 and 53, were all Malaysian nationals.
00:34Among them, 9 individuals were arrested for drunk driving under Section 45A, Subsection
00:411 of the Road Transport Act 1987, while 11 were detained for reckless driving or road
00:47hooliganism under Section 42, Subsection 1 of the same Act.
00:52One individual was arrested for drug-related offences under Section 151A of the Dangerous
00:57Drugs Act 1952.
01:00During the operation, authorities confiscated 72 vehicles and issued 451 traffic summonses
01:07for various offences.
01:09Commissioner Kumar stressed that Johor Police will maintain a zero-tolerance approach toward
01:13those who violate traffic laws, endangering themselves and others.
01:18He urged all road users to prioritize safety by adhering to traffic rules and regulations,
01:24and called on the public to report road safety violations through the Johor Police Contingent
