17 people have been arrested in Adelaide this morning after a fight broke out between two groups on a public bus.

00:00Police say the fight broke out between two groups of people as they got on an Adelaide
00:06Metro bus in the city this morning.
00:08The bus driver stopped here in Theberton and called police.
00:12A woman suffered non-life-threatening head injuries and two others suffered minor injuries.
00:17All three were taken to hospital.
00:20The bus driver and other passengers weren't injured but the bus was damaged.
00:25There's been at least 17 arrests of persons involved in that affray and they'll be charged
00:32with aggravated affray and damage offences.
00:36Police say the people involved were known to each other and despite this morning's incidents
00:40police say they're pleased with the behaviour of crowds celebrating New Year's Eve last
00:45night.
00:46In all, 72 people were arrested, 26 caught drink driving and six caught driving while
00:52on drugs.
