00:00Okay, this is it. My favorite painting in the entire place.
00:06I think I know why you brought me here.
00:08Really? Why?
00:10Because you wanted to get me away from all the fans and boosters and anyone else who wants some of my time.
00:16And this is the last place you think anyone would come looking for me.
00:21Oh, you couldn't be more wrong.
00:31Place looks great, Christina. I love all the changes you made.
00:36Thank you. Yeah, I'm working really hard on it, hoping we can reopen soon.
00:40I just have to find a bartender, which is surprisingly a lot harder than you'd think.
00:45Well, don't look at me. I can barely manage gin and tonic, and that only has two ingredients.
00:50Well, three, if you're fancy, Adeline.
00:53Well, you have other talents.
00:56So I wanted you to come by because I found something for you.
01:07How old is Wiley in that photo?
01:10Eighteen months or so?
01:13Where did you find this?
01:15In a drawer I was cleaning out the office.
01:18It was probably Julian's.
01:21I appreciate the offer, but it's okay. You don't need to stay.
01:25Well, I'm here for emotional support.
01:28You've given me a lot of that lately, and I just figured it was my turn to return the favor.
01:34I know you support me on this, but you don't need to stick around the hospital to prove it.
01:39This medical record review is purely routine.
01:43Okay, fine. But call me when you're finished. Let me know how it went.
01:49And remember, I know you know this, but this is just an internal review.
01:53It's not a legal proceeding, so you don't have to answer any questions if you don't want to.
01:57It's just going to be Portia Terry and me talking.
02:01We're all on the same side. We just want to know what happened to Dex Heller.
02:05Well, you're not the only ones.
02:07I'll call you when I'm done.
02:10I'm holding you to that.
02:23Nurse Baldwin, thank you for coming.
02:34Please have a seat.
02:39I know I was a little vague on the phone.
02:42That's an understatement. Well, I'm here.
02:44I'm getting ready to do you a favor.
02:47Yeah, what's that?
02:49Well, first up, how are things going with you and Ava?
02:52She's not letting up on this custody thing, and this is going to turn out to be an all-out war.
02:59Why?
03:00Well, from what I've learned, it may not come to that.
03:06Dougie, it's Laura. Please call me as soon as you've found Lulu.
03:11Yeah, I don't care what time it is. I just want to know she's okay. Thanks, bye.
03:16Hi.
03:17Hi.
03:18I'm sorry. If this is a bad time, I didn't come back.
03:20No, no, it's really okay. Come on in. I'm just a little bit anxious waiting to hear about Lulu.
03:25Oh. Well, I hope she's all right.
03:28Yeah. Well, for what it's worth, she hasn't changed a bit.
03:41Hey, Charlotte. Enjoying your visit with your mother?
03:47Yes, Papa. Thank you for letting me see her.
03:54Hello, Lulu.
04:18I had to tell Papa I was needing you.
04:24Of course, honey. It's fine.
04:27Charlotte, do you mind giving us a minute? I'd like to talk to your mother privately.
04:30There's no need for Charlotte to leave.
04:32No one's cutting your visit short.
04:38Mind waiting at that table over there?
04:40Of course, Papa.
04:53You look good. Congratulations on your remarkable recovery.
04:59Thanks. I feel great.
05:02And now that I'm back on my feet, Charlotte could come home to Port Charles with me.
05:09Charlotte is very happy to see you awake and to be reunited with you, but that is something that's not going to happen.
05:16Charlotte needs me.
05:18Charlotte has not had you for four years.
05:21She's been with me and she's going to continue to be with me.
05:25What kind of life can you offer her on the run like this?
05:28Let her go with me.
05:32I was so happy to hear Lulu woke up.
05:35I know how long you've waited for this.
05:38Yes, thank you very much. It's been a wonderful thing for my whole family.
05:42I mean, we've got our girl back, but it hasn't been without its challenges, you know.
05:49There's an awful lot for Lulu to adjust to.
05:52A lot's happened in the four years that she was in the coma.
05:56Oh, I'm sure. I can't even imagine.
06:00The message that you overheard me leaving.
06:03That's because Lulu decided to take an impromptu trip to go look for her daughter.
06:08And I can't help but worry.
06:09You know, I just wish she would have told me what was going on.
06:12But, you know, we both know a mother will do anything to be with their child.
06:17You know, it's so funny you should mention that.
06:21That's actually why I'm here.
06:25As you know, my custody battle with Sonny is ongoing.
06:29And neither of us has any intention of giving in.
06:33It's going to be a very expensive battle.
06:37I wouldn't be here otherwise.
06:39I'm not sure I'm following you.
06:42Frankly, this is more than a little embarrassing.
06:45But I didn't know who else to turn to, and I'm hoping you could help me.
06:49There seems to be a problem with my divorce settlement from Nicholas.
06:57I just had a conversation with Martin Gray.
07:00He informed me that Nicholas gave away money that was not his to give away.
07:05And the Casadena estate is clawing back every penny they can legally get their hands on.
07:10Including the funds Ava received from the divorce settlement.
07:14As well as the proceeds from the sale of Windermere.
07:18Are you telling me that Ava's broke?
07:21I don't know the details of Ava's financial situation, so I really can't say for sure.
07:27But what I can say for sure is she's not getting any of Nicholas' money.
07:31Which would seriously hamper her ability to fund a lengthy custody battle.
07:37Well, that's great news. Thanks for telling me.
07:40Yeah, well, I figured you'd be happy about it.
07:43I also have an ulterior motive in letting you know this.
07:50So I'm hoping you will do me a favor in return.
07:54Always.
07:56I want you to take Charlie's from Christina.
08:00Thank you for giving this to me.
08:03I had no idea my father had it.
08:05Of course.
08:07I remember when Brad took this picture.
08:10It was one of those perfect days at the park.
08:15We set up a picnic and then Wiley toddled around playing afterwards.
08:21We were all so happy.
08:24Feels like a million years ago.
08:28I've been thinking about Wiley so much lately.
08:31Especially since I saw his sweet face in that photo.
08:33That poor kid, he's probably so confused why his parents are fighting and why his dad's not living there anymore.
08:41Yeah.
08:43I got into it with Willow about that last night.
08:47I kind of unloaded on her.
08:49Really? What did you say?
08:51I probably should have just kept my big mouth shut.
08:55It's not my place to tell anyone how to raise their child.
08:59No, actually, I completely disagree with you.
09:04You were one of his fathers for the first few years of his life.
09:09You love him and you're always going to try to protect him.
09:12Yes, I will, but Willow's had a really tough go of it recently, so I shouldn't judge her.
09:19That's very noble of you.
09:21I'd argue that Michael has had it tougher.
09:24Agreed.
09:26And it's no question that Willow has made some lousy choices.
09:29But the person that I am really disgusted with is Drew.
09:33He refuses to accept any responsibility.
09:36He's even trying to use Sam's death as his excuse for his affair with Willow.
09:41What? That is so unbelievably disrespectful to Sam's memory.
09:46If I heard him say anything even close to that, I'd probably just punch him in his pretty little face.
09:52Yeah, and I had the same impulse.
09:56I have Ava to thank for convincing me to take the high road.
10:01I was under the impression this meeting would just be the three of us.
10:09The hospital thought it would be prudent if I sat in on this review in light of the new information.
10:16What new information?
10:18We'll get to that soon.
10:20But first, I'd like to ask you a few questions.
10:27I don't think so. I feel like I'm being blindsided here.
10:32So you can either tell me everything right now or I'm walking out that door.
10:37There's no reason to become that of a nurse.
10:39Baldwin has a right to know.
10:42Elizabeth, we received the autopsy report on Dex Heller.
10:47He died from a lethal dose of Digitalis, just like Samantha McCall.
10:58I wanted to bring you here because it is my favorite place in the entire truck, if not in all of Port Charles.
11:04Wow, I'm honored. That's quite an endorsement.
11:07Well, it's quite a painting.
11:09So what do you think?
11:12It's nice.
11:14It's nice.
11:16That's it.
11:18Oh, what are you really thinking? And it's fine. You won't have my feelings.
11:22OK, well, honestly, I think it looks like a bunch of scribbles to me.
11:28It reminds me of something my little cousin would do.
11:32OK, I get that. I thought the same thing at first.
11:39And then something just made me keep coming back.
11:46I think it was the play of colors in the left corner.
11:50And then I started to notice the composition and the way that the artist guides the eye.
11:58Now, every time I see it, I see something else.
12:02The geometric shapes, the texture, the playfulness of the brushstrokes.
12:09And now I feel like every time I see it, it just teaches me something new.
12:14Well, that's a really interesting way to look at it.
12:17Yeah, I think that's why I'm drawn to it, because it's always surprising me.
12:22And I mean, that's the beautiful thing about art, is that if you let it open your mind, then it will take you outside of yourself.
12:32And that's what I need.
12:35I mean, I think that's what everyone needs. Am I wrong?
12:38I don't really know, because I wasn't looking at the painting. I was looking at you.
12:45I'm sorry. I know that Ava is the last person that you want to hear about right now.
12:52It's OK. She's her aunt, and I can't realistically expect people to just stop talking about her.
13:01Yeah, but that doesn't mean you want to hear about her good deeds.
13:04What I want is to move forward with my life.
13:07And there was a police investigation, and all of the evidence against Ava was laid out for trial.
13:12And the jury decided that she was innocent, so I got my answer.
13:18No one is to blame for my baby's death.
13:21I know how hard it must have been for you to make peace with the verdict.
13:27You're a really, really, really strong person, Christina.
13:32I'm a work in progress.
13:34I'm just trying really hard to move forward.
13:37That's why Charlie's means so much to me right now.
13:39You know, it's a place where I can invest my time and my energy and just drop my guard and be myself,
13:46instead of being defined by all of the terrible things that have happened to me lately.
13:52A fresh start.
13:53Yeah. God knows I need one.
13:58You want me to take Charlie's away from Christina?
14:03Are you really going to make me say this?
14:06Fine.
14:07I don't want her involved in any of your businesses.
14:10Charlie's is completely legitimate.
14:13That may be the case, but it doesn't mean that it's not risky.
14:17I mean, what if her name ends up on one of your documents or on some email?
14:22It could ruin her life.
14:23I'm not going to let that happen. I've been doing this a long time.
14:26I know how to protect Christina.
14:28You may think that you do.
14:31But if you give Charlie's to Christina, that's exactly what someone in your position would do if they were going to launder money.
14:40You're not wrong.
14:41I know that.
14:43And if you let her keep Charlie's sooner or later, she's going to end up on the FBI's radar.
14:54Oh, hey.
14:55Hey. Looks like we had the same idea.
14:58Yeah, just working off some frustration.
15:03Looks like you've been at it for a while.
15:05Must be pretty frustrating.
15:07There's a lot going on.
15:09You just come from the hospital?
15:12I did. Long day.
15:15Yeah?
15:16Did you see Elizabeth before you left?
15:19No. Why?
15:20Well, she's got that medical record review today, and I just haven't heard how it went.
15:27Are you worried about it?
15:29It's driving me crazy that I can't be there to support her.
15:32She insisted that there's nothing I could do.
15:36Said the review was purely routine.
15:40Lucky no review is ever routine.
15:45The hospital has a responsibility to our patients.
15:48We are obligated to look into how this grave error has occurred.
15:54And you're starting with me.
15:57You are the head nurse.
15:59And you were on duty when Dexter Howard died.
16:04He was administered the wrong medication, and it cost him his life.
16:10Obviously, your actions that night are very important.
16:15I don't think I should say anything else without a lawyer present.
16:19Please don't get the wrong idea, Elizabeth.
16:21We're not accusing you of anything.
16:24This is just an informational review.
16:28That's right.
16:30There is no reason for you not to cooperate.
16:35Unless you have something to hide.
16:43Charlotte misses her family.
16:45She needs them, and she needs me.
16:47She misses poor Charles, but that doesn't mean she should be living there full time.
16:51You even asked her what she wants?
16:54We both know Charlotte can't make this decision.
16:57She's a teenager.
16:59We are her parents. It's our responsibility to decide for her.
17:03It kind of sounds like you know that she's going to choose to stay with me.
17:07You've made yourself the center of her world.
17:11She loves you so much.
17:13That's a bad thing, is it?
17:15Yes.
17:17When it starts affecting her world,
17:19it is not fair to expect her to hide away from the world, from her friends.
17:25That cannot be the kind of life that you want for Charlotte.
17:28Don't presume to tell me what kind of life I want for my daughter.
17:31You have virtually no relationship with her.
17:34That is not true.
17:35It is true, and I'm not saying it's your fault,
17:37but at the moment, you are just an intriguing person
17:40for Charlotte to have lunch with every once in a while.
17:43That's it.
17:45You're a mother in name only.
17:47I am the only parent Charlotte has known for most of her life.
17:50I am not abandoning her.
17:57She is a crucial part of medicine.
17:59The hospital wants to make sure the staff did everything we could to take care of the patient.
18:04You know, that's not even a question with Elizabeth.
18:07From everything that I've seen of her, you're right.
18:11Look, we both know Dax Heller didn't die from his surgery.
18:15He was a young guy in perfect health,
18:18and he died of a heart attack just like Sam.
18:21You're right.
18:23And none of those deaths make sense medically speaking.
18:26Yeah, yeah, which means the hospital isn't looking for someone who made a mistake.
18:31They're looking for a person who's deliberately harming patients.
18:36And so far, Elizabeth is the only common thread.
18:40Please, just answer yes or no.
18:43Were you on duty when Dax Heller went into cardiac arrest?
18:48Excuse me, my client has nothing more to say on this matter.
18:51I'm sorry, who are you?
18:53Rick Lansing, Elizabeth Baldwin's counsel.
18:55This is an internal review. Elizabeth doesn't need a lawyer.
18:59Oh, everybody needs a lawyer, Ms. Clark,
19:01especially when they're being questioned by one.
19:04I suggest you ask him to leave.
19:06Having a lawyer here will only slow down this process.
19:09Well, that's not going to be necessary,
19:10because Ms. Baldwin's not going to be answering any more questions.
19:13Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick, please.
19:15We want to clear Elizabeth of all speculation,
19:18but we need to hear her side of the story.
19:20Well, let me ask you a question.
19:22Why is Elizabeth here and none of the other nurses?
19:24Elizabeth is here because she's the head nurse,
19:26and because she was on duty when Sam McCall and Dax Heller went into cardiac arrest
19:31and subsequently died.
19:34Elizabeth, please don't make this harder than it has to be.
19:38Just answer our questions.
19:40I'm sorry, but my lawyer says not to talk.
19:44I guess this interview is over.
19:51You think I would hand over Charlie's to Christina
19:54without making sure that she's not connected to any of my other businesses?
19:58I know that you have the best of intentions here,
20:01but any appearance of impriety could have a negative effect on her.
20:06So you want me to go back on my word, take Charlie's away from Christina?
20:10The last thing she needs is another disappointment.
20:13What she needs is to be safe from prosecution.
20:15That is the most important thing.
20:17She needs something where she can win,
20:20that she can throw herself into and be proud of.
20:23I'm not taking that away from her.
20:25If you explain it to her, she'll understand.
20:28No, she won't. She's going to feel like I lost faith in her.
20:32She'll see how flattered she was when I told her I was giving her Charlie's and I trusted her.
20:40I'm not going to take back that trust.
20:44I want you to tell me about how Eva helped you.
20:48Please, I want to be supportive of you.
20:55Well, Eva just gave me some perspective on the situation, that's all.
21:01Good, I'm glad she was helpful.
21:03Yeah, I wouldn't say we're close, but ever since Sam's funeral, we've crossed paths a few times.
21:09Wait, Sam's funeral? She wouldn't have dared put there.
21:14Yeah, but I wasn't there either, remember?
21:16I ran into Danny at All Saints Before the Service.
21:21He blamed me for Sam's death, and at the time, I couldn't say that he was wrong,
21:25so I figured the least I could do for him was stay away.
21:29I'm so sorry you didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Sam.
21:33No, but I did, in my own way.
21:35I went to my father's grave, Eva showed up there.
21:40Turns out we had a lot to talk about.
21:42Well, she's part of your family.
21:46Yeah, whether I like it or not.
21:49You still haven't told me how she helped you.
21:53Well, when I got into it with Willow and Drew,
21:58Eva saw how upset I was and got me out of Nina's place before I did something that I'd regret.
22:04And I was really, really, really worked up, so we took a walk and talked.
22:10That's good. What did you guys talk about?
22:15About how hard it is to lose a child?
22:21It turns out that the financial settlement from my divorce is no longer mine.
22:28It is now somehow the property of the Cassidyne heir.
22:32My grandson, Ace.
22:35Yeah.
22:36I have just been advised that my grandson, Ace, has been named the new Cassidyne heir,
22:42and the estate is being held in trust for him.
22:47Advised by whom, if I may ask?
22:49My brother, Martin.
22:51The Greek firm that handled the estate called Martin and they asked him to be the American representative.
23:00I see.
23:01But, Eva, I am not happy about Ace inheriting the Cassidyne fortune,
23:07but Martin tells me I can't do a thing about it until he's older.
23:12There's got to be some kind of solution, right?
23:16I mean, that financial settlement is mine.
23:18Now, the lawyers may not understand, but it is what was promised to me.
23:23Now, Laura, I know that you are a very fair woman, and I am hoping that you can help me get it back.
23:29Eva, I'm sorry, but that's just not going to happen.
23:37You're right.
23:38Charlotte and I aren't as close as I wish we were.
23:43And I know how much you love her.
23:46But you wouldn't be abandoning Charlotte if you sent her to Port Charles to live a better life.
23:54Parents make decisions like this every day.
23:56The best ones do what's right for their child, even when it's hard.
24:02You don't know that Charlotte's going to have a better life with you?
24:06I know she wouldn't be a fugitive.
24:09Sooner or later, whoever is chasing you is going to find you.
24:15I just want to make sure that our daughter is not caught in the line of fire.
24:20You think Charlotte's going to be safer in Port Charles?
24:23I do.
24:25Then I'm guessing no one told you that Charlotte was shot last year.
24:33I haven't known Elizabeth very long, but it's obvious she would never harm her patients.
24:38Of course not, but someone else might.
24:43It's rare and it's horrible, but it does happen that a medical professional deliberately causes harm.
24:51Yes, and that's the only explanation why two completely healthy people have suddenly died of heart attacks.
24:58If you're right, all the more reason to trust the process.
25:02The hospital will get all the information they need from Elizabeth to find the person responsible.
25:07I just wish there was something I could do.
25:12I'm sure Elizabeth loves having your support, but I've also seen how strong she is.
25:18She'll be fine without you.
25:20So if you're feeling like you need to leave Port Charles, go ahead.
25:30What do you mean? Charlotte was shot by who?
25:34Anna Devane.
25:37I don't believe you.
25:39You can ask Charlotte. She'll confirm it.
25:42Actually, don't do that. She's been traumatized.
25:45That doesn't make any sense. Anna's a cop. Why would she shoot an innocent child?
25:49It was an accident.
25:52We were involved at the time, and my father convinced Charlotte that Anna was a threat to me.
25:58I see. Your father manipulated Charlotte.
26:02Charlotte wanted Anna to think she was being stalked.
26:05She snuck into her apartment, Anna drew on her, before realizing that it was just her daughter.
26:12Oh, my God.
26:16How badly was she hurt?
26:19It was touch and go.
26:21But she's made a full recovery.
26:24More than the nightmares?
26:29Why wouldn't anyone tell me?
26:31I don't know. You've got to ask them.
26:33But my point is, you cannot guarantee that Charlotte will be safe in Port Charles.
26:37It's better that she stays with me.
26:41And I'll protect her.
26:45The painting is nice and all, but it's just hanging there.
26:49And you're standing right in front of me, talking about all sorts of interesting things.
26:53I mean, of course I'm going to pay more attention to you.
26:56That's very sweet.
26:59And superficial.
27:00Oh, come on. Superficial? Me? It sounds like you're calling me a dumb jock.
27:04Okay, look, I can admit that there's more strategy to football than I thought.
27:09But there's more to you than just football.
27:12Look, I read what you wrote for our presentation, and it was creative and insightful.
27:20So maybe just give this painting another chance. Let it speak to you.
27:27Okay. The things I do for a friend.
27:39No cheating, quarterback. Eyes on the painting.
27:45Okay, well, I think I get what you're talking about.
27:50But I see something else.
27:53This painting reminds me of you.
27:57Because every time I look at you, I see something new, too.
28:01And that's not superficial.
28:10Sorry, I gotta take this.
28:13Hello? Yeah, okay. Yeah, I'm on my way.
28:20You have to go. Unfortunately.
28:23No, it's fine. You're an important guy. I totally get it.
28:28But thank you for bringing me here.
28:30Okay, you were right. This was exactly what I needed.
28:41I'm so sorry, Ava.
28:43I know you went through an awful lot with Nicholas.
28:46And I know you stood by him for as long as you could.
28:49It's where I wanted to be. We loved each other.
28:52Yes, I know. I know. I saw that firsthand.
28:55That's why I was hoping that maybe you would be able to help him conquer his demons.
29:00I wanted to. I tried.
29:03And he made it impossible. I know.
29:06Unfortunately. Yeah.
29:08And I know that he's responsible for a lot of the things that went wrong between the two of you.
29:12That's why I believe that you are entitled to your divorce settlement.
29:17But it's out of my hands.
29:19Ace has been named the Cassidyne heir.
29:22He's set to inherit the entire estate.
29:25And I'm so sorry.
29:28There's just nothing I can do about it.
29:33I'm not trying to defend Ava. Especially to you.
29:37I will say she's conscious of your loss.
29:43And of how much pain you're in.
29:46It was a horrible ordeal.
29:49And I think we both just want to move forward now.
29:53I would say that's right.
29:57If I had to guess, I'm sure Ava is throwing herself into working at the gallery just like I am here.
30:03I'm sure she will if she can hold on to the gallery.
30:06What do you mean?
30:08There was some problem with her divorce settlement.
30:12And I don't know the details.
30:14But Ava gave me the impression that money is suddenly tight.
30:18Well, that's too bad.
30:20Yeah.
30:21She was even talking about having to move out of the Cosmopolitan into a smaller place.
30:26But maybe she just wants to change the scenery.
30:30Yeah, I wouldn't blame her.
30:32Yeah, well, I have to get back to the hospital.
30:36Yes.
30:37But thank you for the photo. I am so glad to have it back.
30:41You're so welcome.
30:43And good luck with this place. I'm sure it's going to be packed in no time.
30:49Your lipstick was yours.
30:51Bye.
30:52Bye.
30:53Bye.
31:00I know what Christina's going through, and I truly believe she needs Charlie's.
31:07I'll watch over her. I'll make sure she's doing OK, and I'll protect her.
31:12You can at least trust me with that, right?
31:15Trust you?
31:17Not on most things.
31:20But when it comes to our daughter, I trust that you will look out for her the best that you can.
31:28So we agree that Christina can keep Charlie's?
31:32You've heard my concerns.
31:36And I will keep everything you're worried about in mind.
31:43Well, I guess that's the best I can hope for.
31:49I mean, it's not like I can ask you to get out of the mob, right?
31:56Ava, if it were up to me, Ace would not inherit a dime of that money.
32:02Because I believe the Kasadyne fortune has never brought anyone anything but misery.
32:08Well, that family has certainly been through a lot.
32:11We both know what it did to Nicholas to become the Kasadyne heir.
32:15No matter how hard he tried to fight it.
32:18And then Spencer, in his way too short life, spent way too much time trying to do the very same thing.
32:25It's blood money, Ava. It's blood money.
32:29That's why I asked Martin if there was a way that I could just give it all to charity.
32:33All of it?
32:34Every last penny.
32:36But I don't have a say.
32:38Let me try.
32:40I can be a very convincing woman.
32:42Just tell me who it is I need to talk to.
32:44Oh, really? I will fly to Greece.
32:46No, if I have to.
32:47That's not a good idea.
32:48Please, Laura.
32:50Please.
32:52For my daughter's sake.
32:55I will lose her without that money.
33:01Hey, listen, I'm not going anywhere until I know Elizabeth is cleared.
33:06I mean, I may not be a doctor, but I have my ways.
33:09And just because Elizabeth doesn't need me today doesn't mean she won't in the future.
33:13And I want to be here when she does.
33:15Good to know.
33:18What is this, reverse psychology, really?
33:20You have no more finesse than that?
33:24We both know you're not the kind of guy to turn his back on the people in his life mid-time.
33:30You know what your problem is?
33:31No, I have a feeling you're going to tell me.
33:33You think you need to base jump off a cliff or pull off some kind of epic rescue mission to help people.
33:41But the best thing you can do right now for Elizabeth is to make it clear you're sticking around.
33:49When she calls you, you pick up and you show that you're there for her.
33:58Well, I think we're done here.
34:00Come on, Elizabeth, let's go.
34:01I think I should listen to my lawyer.
34:04Please consider your patience.
34:07Don't you want this matter to be settled?
34:09Nurse Baldwin is deeply saddened by the loss of her two patients, but nice trying the intimidation tactics.
34:15Three.
34:16I'm sorry?
34:17Three patients.
34:19You've identified a third patient, Sylvie Mullen.
34:23She died of a heart attack in August.
34:27Nurse Baldwin, please correct the record if an error has been made.
34:32But Sylvie Mullen was your patient, wasn't she?
34:40Charlotte should get to go to school.
34:44Have friends.
34:47Fall in love.
34:49How can you disagree with that?
34:50I don't.
34:52I want Charlotte to be happy as much as you do.
34:55I believe that.
34:58I know how much you love her and how much she loves you.
35:04She'll do whatever you ask.
35:07She has faith that you'll keep her safe, but can you?
35:11Really?
35:13You didn't answer before, so I'm going to ask again.
35:16What happens when whoever is chasing you finally finds you?
35:22It might not end well for you.
35:26And if anything happens to you, Charlotte is going to blame herself.
35:33Please.
35:35Please don't let our daughters live with that burden.
35:42Dante, what are you doing here?
35:45Hey.
35:47Well, we're here to take you home, if that's what you want.
35:52Charlotte knows the time.
35:56Just let me out.
36:02Knock, knock.
36:06Ava.
36:08I'm so glad you're here.
36:09I need to speak with you.
36:11Well, from what I heard, you can't afford me.
36:21Several of us have reviewed Mrs. Mullen's medical records,
36:25and we've decided to petition the family to exhume the body in order to perform an autopsy.
36:32Okay.
36:33She was a very sick woman, and I would also like to know what causes her anxiety.
36:36Elizabeth, Elizabeth, stop talking.
36:37Don't say another word.
36:39I understand you're looking out for Nurse Baldwin, but the hospital will do our very best to protect her.
36:44Now you're home, Miss Clark.
36:45Your first responsibility is to GH, to protect them and make sure that they're cleared of any wrongdoing.
36:50Unfortunately, if Elizabeth doesn't answer our questions, we'll officially have to suspend her.
37:01Found a bartender yet?
37:08You applying?
37:10Well, I don't have a resume with me, but I can provide references.
37:15Your father, for one.
37:18Text me my hero, and we'll talk.
37:22Dante, it's Laura.
37:23I've left you a half a dozen messages, and I haven't heard anything back.
37:27Please call me.
37:29I need to know what's going on with my daughter.
37:34Charlotte, let's go.
37:35Wait, please.
37:36Get off me.
37:37Wait, wait, Valentine, just wait a minute.
37:38The cop's on the way?
37:39No, it's just me.
37:41I didn't even know he was here.
37:43Please, please, just let me take Charlotte to a safe place.
37:46She was safe until now.
37:48You can spare me the whole Dante came a long way.
37:51He's either with the cops, or he led someone right to us.
38:16Oh, man.
38:33On the next General Hospital.
38:34I'll agree to your plan, but I need you to do something for me in return.
38:37What do you say?
38:38Come to D.C.?
38:39So please, give it back to me.
38:41I think I won't make a scene in front of my daughter.
38:43Don't be mistaken.
38:46Emma is off limits.
