**Surah Al-Masad** (The Palm Fiber) is the 111th chapter of the Qur'an, consisting of 5 verses. It was revealed in Makkah and directly addresses the fate of Abu Lahab, an uncle of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who opposed Islam vehemently. The Surah condemns his actions, declaring that neither his wealth nor his status will save him from the punishment of Hell. His wife, who supported his opposition, is also condemned. Surah Al-Masad serves as a reminder of the consequences of arrogance, hatred, and rejecting divine guidance.
