00:25A previous truce in November last year saw more than 100 hostages released, exchanged
00:30for Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons. Israel says around 100 hostages remain in
00:36captivity in Gaza, but at least a third of them are believed to be dead.
00:41The weekly protests have also taken on a political dimension, with some at the rallies demanding
00:46Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu step down and call fresh elections. They accuse him
00:51of prioritizing his political survival over the lives of the hostages.
