00:00Okay, we are back once again at Mesa Country Club getting a lot of love lately as it deserves little sloppy there 13 through 15
00:07We're gonna finish out 16 17 and 18 brought to you by our great friends at Peter Millar and the Holdred sweater
00:13Family 16th hole is maybe the signature hole on the golf course
00:16It's a short downhill par 3 right next to the clubhouse beautiful view of the trees
00:22It looks kind of like you're in California, even though you're in Mesa, Arizona from blue tees
00:26152 yards to this slightly back left pin, but significantly downhill and the greens are kind of firm
00:32So I've got on this beautiful sweater
00:33I've got my hands a 9-iron trying to hit it at the right side of the green right center with a little bit of a
00:38Draw pretty smooth swing here
00:40Actually from the young man
00:42starting just at the right of the green catches kind of the front right and then takes the hill
00:46Takes the slope takes the bounce and gets all the way back to about pin high maybe 20 feet away again
00:52Look at the bunkering look at the lights. Look at the shadows
00:54Look at the different colors of the trees. This is an awesome golf hole. I like to play it
00:58Well, so here we are
00:59We got ourselves a pretty good look for birdie
01:01It kind of goes up over a slope and then back down the other side of that little hump and we're gonna give this good
01:06effort we're gonna try to make a birdie and
01:09We gave it way too much of an effort rolls way by not very happy with myself
01:13Luckily luckily got to see that bad boy roll by the hole
01:16I thought with the view I'd like to set you guys up, you know
01:19Usually you get to view the putt from directly behind a little bit more of an understanding of it's gonna go in or not
01:24But lighting artistic cinematography, I thought this might be the best angle. So here we go
01:30We got about 10 feet left to clean this par up after a GI are
01:33Hoping we make this one and we do walked it in a little bit and look at that sweater

02:10This is the number two
02:11Handicap on the golf course a little bit of a dogleg right but overall pretty straight off the tee
02:16I'm trying to just hit one up off that right bunker a little draw and I hooked one a little bit got a
02:22Terrible bounce hit a tree kicked way back and left
02:25It wasn't a great shot
02:27But if it gets past that tree it kind of ends up up there near those fairway bunkers and the left rough and I could
02:31Probably come up with something but kicked way back and left
02:34So I got a million yards out and I got a hook this thing like you wouldn't believe
02:37The pin is as I set up with this three iron here
02:41The pin is sort of where my spine angle is way left and I got to keep it low
02:45Hook the hell out of those we're gonna catch bunker and trees over on the right and you can see that shot shape
02:50I actually did it extremely. Well came out low and tumbling advanced it all the way up there to a relatively decent spot
02:56Considering how poor of a result that was off the tee this Holdridge sweater thing is awesome

03:06A great shot great strike just hit it maybe a fraction too far
03:10So we get up there and we are about 15 feet behind the pin as you can see a lot of people getting a lot
03:14Of trouble here. So a little bit of bunker splash residue on the green
03:18But cleared that out as nicely as we could we got ourselves a decent look for par after that terrible result off the tee
03:23Thought this thing was gonna kind of snap left at the end
03:26It didn't didn't really hit it with any conviction didn't really hit it with anything. That's worth writing home about
03:30So we got to clean this one up the bogey and we do again
03:33That's the number two handicap hole in the course to 420 or so yard par for a little tricky off the tee
03:37So bogeys a bogey it is what it is. Let's come to the par 5 18th. This is a pretty goodable hole
03:42It's only 505 yards or so from the blue tees
03:45Trying to hit a little draw up there that left bunker comes into play that right bunkers come into play
03:49So trying to shape one up through there
03:51This is actually an excellent swing from yours truly
03:53Started right with a little bit of a draw is gonna be close gonna be closer to caught that bunker or not
03:58It did but a bunker is not terrible as you can see. It's pretty flat
04:02There's not a high lip or anything and I'm only 230 yards or so from the hole
04:05So I've got a four iron here trying to advance it up there
04:08Just short of that a little cross bunker and have just a pitch up the hill hooked it a little as you can see
04:14I tried to save it by kind of holding it off but got up there hit the road
04:17There's a road that crosses this fairway. So it hit the road skipped up there a ways
04:22All right, that's up there. That's good
04:24So we've got ourselves a little wedge in here trying to pitch one kind of just barely land one on the green there and just
04:29I hit it decently but hit it by three feet too short
04:32So it hit the fringe grabbed didn't skip very well and we have about 25 feet for a birdie
04:38This would get us back to even on this three hole little video
04:41It would keep us at just two over through the final six holes that we filmed here at Mesa great vest, by the way
04:47I threw the vest on at this point took off the old
04:49Full zip toss the vest on had to show off a little bit blue blue eyes. It's nice. Look Navy speaking of nice looks
04:56This was not one
04:56This was a poor effort left at a good five feet short as you can see pretty fed up with myself at this part of
05:01The round really just kind of a disappointing effort a lot of different respects
05:04So run up there to clean it up got through the last three at just one over got through the last six at three
