00:00The National Wages and Productivity Commission, or NWPC, has approved wage order number RX23,
00:08granting wage increases for household workers in northern Mindanao and Metro Manila.
00:14The non-agriculture sector will receive a P23 increase, while the agriculture sector will get a P35 increase,
00:22bringing the minimum wage to P446 to P461.
00:27The order also eliminates sectoral wage differences.
00:30Additionally, wage order RXDW04, providing a P1,000 monthly increase for Kasambahays in northern Mindanao, was affirmed.
00:41NWPC also approved wage order number NCRDW05, which grants a P500 increase for Kasambahays in the National Capital Region,
00:53raising their minimum wage to P7,000.
00:57Northern Mindanao's wage orders take effect on January 12, 2025, while NCR starts on January 4, 2025.
