00:00The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group, or PNP-ACG, shut down 115 online platforms
00:07selling illegal firecrackers, including Facebook pages, ex-accounts, and a website.
00:12Based on the information gathered by the Philippine News Agency, 208 more platforms are being
00:18monitored.
00:19Acting ACG Chief Brigadier General Bernard Young said they are increasing patrols to
00:23find violators, reminding that selling illegal firecrackers can lead to fines of P20,000
00:30to P30,000 and up to one year in prison.
00:33From December 6 to 26, the ACG carried out eight operations, arrested 10 people, and
00:38seized firecrackers worth over P76,000.
