00:58This move of the PNP immediately yielded a reason for the rising crime rate in the country.

01:0513.51% of the index crimes recorded in the country in the first 11 months of 2024.

01:15This means that from more than 35,000 index crimes recorded from January to November of 2023,

01:23it decreased to more than 30,000 this year in the same months.

01:28These petty crimes include robberies, theft, carnapping, and physical abuse.

01:36Focus Crimes recorded a record high of murder, homicide, physical injury, and rape

01:44that reached 60%.

02:06Cybercrime cases in the country also decreased by 5.75% in the first quarter of the year compared to the first 6 months.

02:15Only more than 3,400 cybercrimes recorded in the country from July to September this year.

02:23This is lower than almost 3,800 recorded in the second quarter of the year

02:29and higher than the first quarter of the year that reached more than 4,000 cases of crime in the country.

02:37It is a big thing that the authorities responded quickly with the help of Revitalize 9-1-1.

02:44In fact, according to PNP Spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo,

02:48out of the thousands of calls that they received, 99.97% of them responded.
