00:00an offense that has scored 30 plus points in eight consecutive
00:09games. And then they like all of us watch Patrick Mahomes limp
00:14off the field on Sunday in Cleveland. Buffalo's thinking,
00:18oh boy, we might have a shot because we have the head to head
00:22tiebreaker advantage with Kansas City of claiming that number one
00:25seed. If Mahomes is not ready to go for maybe two or three of
00:29these final weeks to end out the regular season. And we're
00:32playing the Patriots twice, including on Sunday is more than
00:36a two touchdown favorite at home in Western New York. Now
00:41Buffalo's outlook for the one seed has taken a hit because
00:45Mahomes is going to play on Saturday. But Buffalo still not
00:49done in this race just yet. Joe, the question is not can Buffalo
00:54win its ninth game in its last 10? It's can the Bills cover as
00:59a two touchdown favorite at home against the Patriots?
01:03Ah, yes. To keep it real simple here, Ben. I mean, listen, they
01:09are outstanding this year. But there I think there's seven and
01:13three against the number is a favorite. They've covered those
01:16games been by an average of almost nine points per game.
01:20They have the second best overall cover margin in the NFL.
01:24They roll up 30 points, and they have in a straight games.
01:29And by the way, the New England defense, they're allowing just
01:33about 30 points a game over their last four, it's starting
01:38to crumble with New England, they've lost by 21 to the Jets
01:4220 to Houston 16 to Jacksonville, 19 to Miami, even
01:4613 to Arizona, that losing by more than two touchdowns is not
01:52new. We're not asking for something rare to happen here,
01:55Ben, it would be all Buffalo in any way I can find them,
02:00especially team totals, especially first half full game.
02:05I would absolutely lay it with Buffalo here.
