00:00It was hard to get a ticket for some Bicol passengers on the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange or PITX.

00:09Others waited for almost half a day for their flight.

00:12And live, this is Jamie Santos.

00:21Pia, this past Sunday before Christmas,

00:24there were more and more PITX passengers returning to their provinces.

00:33The queue for tickets to different provinces in Bicol was long last night at 6pm.

00:39There were passengers who booked online for a month.

00:43Just like when I talked to a passenger who bought a ticket for November 20 to return to Daraga, Albay.

00:49In spite of the heavy traffic, they insisted on returning to Bicol.

00:53They can't not return to their families this Christmas.

00:57I have prepared food in a bag.

01:00There's food here.

01:02There's medicine, like medicine for colds and stomach aches.

01:07That's our tradition in Bicol.

01:10And for the family too, so that we can always be together.

01:14So that we can share it.

01:17From Agusan to Bicol, this family will celebrate Christmas.

01:21But it wasn't easy for them to get a ticket.

01:24It's only 10am and they're already here at PITX.

01:28It's been more than 8 hours.

01:30We can still ride, but it's still 8pm.

01:33According to the PITX, although some Bicol air-conditioned buses are fully booked,

01:39there are non-air-conditioned buses that can still be ridden.

01:43Some buses had problems returning to the terminal.

01:46But no one canceled their trip.

01:49Some passengers who have an LRT station near the PITX are thankful.

01:54They saved on the fare because they don't have to change buses anymore.

01:58There are a lot of people here because it's Christmas season.

02:01But it's convenient.

02:02It's fast. There's no traffic.

02:04It's light because it's only one-way.

02:06It's just a bus that goes to us.

02:08The security at the whole terminal is tight.

02:12Aside from the security of the PITX, there are police deployed.

02:16Authorities are reminding people to be alert.

02:19A female passenger fell asleep at the police station.

02:22Because when she arrived at the security check,

02:25she found out that her bag was already opened and her wallet was gone.

02:34Until tomorrow, the PITX expects more passengers to arrive here.

02:40200,000 passengers are expected to arrive today.

02:44As of 9 p.m., 189,592 passengers have arrived.
