00:05a beautiful place that is full of their ancestral domain.

00:14With the help of tourism, a community's life can be changed.

00:18This is when the people who live here feel the benefits it brings.

00:23Like the hot springs in the town of Porac, in Pampanga,

00:27where the people of Aita live.

00:30The town of Aita rents a hot spring that has an ancestral domain.

00:35Because of this, they were able to find a job.

00:37Like Lennie, who was born in Pampanga.

00:40We also have a dream.

00:44Like the drivers, some of them bought a Porvipor.

00:48We bought a Haval-Haval

00:52so that when we go to the mountains, we don't have to carry our bags.

00:57My brother finished high school.

01:02She says that if it wasn't for this, they would be in the mountains,

01:05planting their own crops.

01:08This hot spring is one of the few places in Porac, Pampanga,

01:10that can be chosen by tourists.

01:13And because of its rich nature,

01:15it is beneficial for the indigenous people of Aita

01:18because they have a livelihood here.

01:21I myself tried the Puning Hot Spring

01:23and the tourists will really enjoy the hot water here.

01:28You can also try the Sun Spa,

01:30where you will bathe in the hot wind for a few minutes.

01:34Also included in their service is the giving of mud spa.

01:37But if you're just looking for a thrill,

01:39this is perfect because you will ride a Porvipor

01:41and the waves will pass through the place just to reach it.

01:44Which was once a source of tragedy

01:47and so much pain and suffering

01:50is now a symbol of the resilience of the people here

01:54and the neighboring provinces as well,

01:56as well as a thriving source for livelihood

01:59for our fellow countrymen.

02:01According to the UN,

02:03it is important for the local governments to have coordination.

02:06So that there will be more international and local tourists.

02:11And the result of the Philippine Experience Caravan

02:16will be that our national tourism organizations,

02:20our regional and local tourism stakeholders

02:22will have business-to-business interactions.

02:27It will help with the tourism packages

02:29that will help with local commerce.
