00:00The 11th Monitoring and Evaluation, or M&E Forum, organized by the National Economic
00:04and Development Authority, or NEDA, emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluation

00:12Over 300 participants from various sectors gathered to promote evidence-based decision

00:18With the theme, Closing the Loop Towards M&E Evidence-Based PDP Midterm Updating, the forum
00:23focused on how M&E aids the review of the Philippine Development Plan.
00:27NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan stressed the need for stronger evaluation systems and
00:32stakeholder engagement.
00:34UNDP Selva Ramchandran and Australian Ambassador HK Yu highlighted the importance of collaboration
00:41in building a robust M&E culture.
00:44Both emphasized learning from each other.
00:46The forum featured M&E studies and discussions on institutionalizing M&E and governance.
00:52Funded by the SEED Project and SMEP, it continues to promote evidence-based decision making.
