Learn how to make Homemade Amla Jam with jaggery, a healthy and delicious recipe packed with the goodness of Indian gooseberry. Perfect for those who love traditional cooking and flavourful treats!

Ingredients
700gms Amla or Amla 25 nos. (Indian Gooseberry)
Grated Amla (5.5 Cups)
Jaggery (4 Cups) or more
Ghee
2” Cinnamon Stick
½ Tsp Pepper Powder
1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
Little Black Salt

Method of Cooking:
1. Soak the Amlas in the salt water for 30 minutes.
2. Then pat dry them.
3. Grate all the Amlas.
4. For 5.5 Cups of grated Amla take 4 Cups of Jaggery or more.
5. Heat a vessel & add 1 Tsp of Ghee.
6. Add all the grated Amla & stir till it changes its colour.
7. Then add the jaggery & keep on stirring till all the jaggery melts.
8. Add 2” Cinnamon Stick, ½ Tsp Pepper Powder, 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder & little Black Salt.
9. Keep on stirring till you get the thick consistency as shown in the video.
10. Then cool the mixture and transfer into a glass jar & refrigerate.
11. Amla Jam can be preserved up to 6 months in the refrigerator.
