Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE) bersama anak perusahaannya, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE), menandatangani Amendemen Perjanjian Perdagangan Kredit Karbon (PPKK). Langkah itu sebagai bagian dari upaya strategis perusahaan menuju transisi energi dan pencapaian target Net Zero Emission (NZE) Indonesia.
Kerja sama tersebut melanjutkan peran Pertamina NRE dalam mengelola kredit karbon yang berasal dari proyek geothermal Lahendong Unit 5&6, yang berlokasi di Lapangan Panas Bumi Tompaso, Sulawesi Utara. Sejak peluncuran IDXCarbon pada 26 September 2023 hingga saat ini, Pertamina NRE telah mencatatkan penjualan 862.000 ton CO2e kredit karbon dari Lahendong Unit 5&6 untuk volume 1 dan 2.

01:09In his statement, Simon expressed his appreciation for the innovation carried out to support the net zero emission.

01:22According to Simon, the trade and carbon credit agreement between Pertamina NREA and Pertamina Geothermal Energy also supports the government's efforts to push the energy sector towards a green energy transition.
01:33This effort is also part of the effort for renewable energy, which is the main program of President Prabowo Subianto's government.
01:41This collaboration continues the contribution of Pertamina NREA in managing carbon credit from the Geothermal La Hendong Unit 5 and 6 project, which is located in the hot earth field of Tompaso, North Sulawesi.
