Chris Wilder's verdict on Sheffield United's victory over Plymouth Argyle, speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield
Transcript
00:00Yeah, we took the big moments. They were better than us at the first half.
00:03Maybe I should have made a few more changes to the team.
00:08I felt we could go again and that just shows the intensity of Championship football
00:13and how demanding it is and especially off the back of Sunday afternoon, Wednesday night,
00:18coming back in Thursday morning and then a quick turnaround to Saturday.
00:22I think it's a ridiculous situation that we put ourselves in,
00:25that we're putting, yet again, three games in six days,
00:29punishing the teams at the top of the division. I don't get it.
00:34We've not got the biggest of squads. We're stretched a little bit at the moment.
00:39So maybe I need to take a little bit of responsibility for maybe not making more changes,
00:44but I felt we could go again.
00:46Clearly we couldn't because there was a lack of energy on the pitch first half.
00:50We changed the shape at half-time to put more pressure on the ball.
00:54I didn't think they were as much of a threat as they were first half
00:57because they were dangerous and they were a better team.
01:00I'm delighted to get that second goal and calm everybody down
01:05and we go home, yet again, preserving an incredible home record.
