00:00We have some important news to share with you.
00:02First of all, the President has sent an objection.
00:05The Madaris Bill has been passed by the JYF.
00:07Because of this, the government and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman are facing each other.
00:11Maulana is also upset.
00:12The President of the country has raised eight objections to the Madaris Bill.
00:16He has said that in the presence of the Pakistan Madrasa Educational Board Ordinance 2001 and Capital Territory Trust Act 2020,
00:23new legislation cannot be made possible.
00:26The second objection is that there is a contradiction in the description of Madrasa in the various sections of the new bill.
00:31And in the beginning of the Society's Registration Act 1860, Madrasa is not mentioned.
00:38If Madaris is registered under the Society's Act, then there will be a threat of other international restrictions such as FATF and GSP.
00:49Religious education is not included in the Society's Registration Act 1860.
00:51Fine arts education is included in it.
00:53Dance classes and art classes are included in it.
00:55Therefore, if religious education and fine arts are included in the Society's Registration Act, then there will be a contradiction.
01:03By registering Madrasa under the Society's Act, it can also be used for other purposes other than education.
01:08And there will be a fear that the situation of peace will deteriorate.
01:14The President of the country has said that there will be a threat of sectarianism from registration in the Society's Act.
01:21Objection No. 7
01:22There will be a conflict of interest from the registration of Madrasas in the Society's Act.
01:27Objection No. 8
01:28The President has also raised the objection that if the registration of Madaris was started through the Society's Act, then the law can be less strict.
01:35Then the law will be less and the arbitrariness will be more.
01:38Before this, we saw that a few days ago, the objection raised by the President of the country was a technical point.
01:45Now that the matter has been resolved after Article 18, the government will also legislate on this issue.
01:51A few days ago, we were watching the news that Kamran Murtaza has contacted Asad Qaisar.
01:57JOIF is also considering the option of establishing a legal framework with the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
02:04We will also talk about this issue.
02:06But the interesting thing is that we have read the objections raised by the President of the country.
02:10You can guess how disconnected the government is from the functional wings of the President.
02:15You can guess this from Mr. Atta Talat's tweet.
02:19And the tweet is that he has said that the registration of Madaris is contrary to the fact and is contrary to thought.
02:27The method of legislating is clear in the law.
02:30The President has raised the same objections.
02:32His clarification will also be from the Parliament.
02:35Now the question is that the President of Pakistan mentioned FATF in his objections.
02:41Mr. Atta Talat, who is the Information Minister, is saying that FATF is not a basis.
02:47This is a wrong allegation.
02:48So who is technically right among the two?
02:50This is also a big question.
02:52Mr. Maulana is angry.
02:53He says that everyone agreed on this bill.
02:55The Parliament left.
02:56And after that, why are you taking it back?
02:58Mr. Maulana is very angry.
03:01We already have a consensus on a bill.
03:04It should be passed.
03:06Mr. Zardari himself was a part of it.
03:08Both Mr. Nawaz Sharif and Mr. Shahbaz Sharif had agreed on it.
03:13And that bill was presented.
03:14If the President can sign on the bill and if he can sign on other acts,
03:20then why can't the consensus of this religious school sign on this law?
03:25And why has it been sent with objections?
03:27We have with us Faisal Chaudhary, a lawyer from Tehreek-e-Insan.
