00:00The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, or MMDA, and the Department of Budget and Management, or DBM,

00:08for the upcoming Philippine Open Government Partnership Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting will hold in February next year.

00:21The Department of Budget and Management, or DBM, wants to promote the Open Government Partnership Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting here in the country

00:34because this will be held in the Philippines.

00:37That is why one of the activities of the DBM is to organize a fan run and to invite them to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, or MMDA.

00:50Because of this, the DBM is now working with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, or MMDA,

00:56to organize the first ever Open Government Partnership fan run.

01:01It will be held at the Torino Grandstand on January 26, 2025.

01:05This Thursday, the MMDA and DBM will meet for the so-called occasion.

01:11The MMDA will lead the logistics, planning of the route, and coordination of the traffic

01:19to ensure that the so-called fan run will be organized properly and safely for all participants.

01:26In a statement said by DBM Secretary Amena Pangandaman,

01:31the existence of transparency, accountability, and participatory governance

01:36is one of the activities of the DBM and President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.,

01:40where this is also one of the principles of the Open Government Partnership.

01:45The MMDA Chairman Don Artes said that the MMDA is also implementing transparency,

01:52honesty, and accountability governance.

01:55That is why they have been in the DBM's unqualified opinion or audit for five years

02:01and they want to improve this, not only in the fan run, but in all activities of the MMDA.

02:08Patrick, aside from the MMDA, the DBM also supports the Philippine Red Cross.

02:14The DBM said that this is part of their promotion of the Open Government Partnership Asia
