00:48Najib claimed the individuals had, in their desperate attempt to save themselves, made
00:53lies upon lies to implicate him.
00:56He added that they live freely without any legal repercussions nor remorse by only giving
01:00their testimonies to the court to implicate him and put him in the midst of the offences
01:06they had clearly committed.
01:08Najib was reading parts of his additional 147-page witness statement in Malay, a change
01:13in language after having read his main witness statement entirely in English.
01:19The hearing continues before Justice Colin Lawrence Sequeira on January 6 next year.
