00:37Because of the violation of the Philippine Clean Water Act and the Environmental Impact Statement System Law,

00:44which has been complained by the residents of the area for several years.

00:47We have been tolerating that smell for five years.

00:54Three barangays are affected by this and we are all suffering from the smell.

01:00According to the inspection of the AMB, they suggested to the Mayor that it's better to close the pig farm.

01:10Some closure orders were issued and a gate of the pig farm was closed last October.

01:16But the affected residents objected.

01:18The Mayor did not give them a permit to operate, but they continued to operate.

01:24He was given 90 days to remove all the pigs, but he did not risk it.

01:31Because of the continued operation of the pig farm, the Outpost built a barangay near the pig farm to prevent the entry of pigs.

01:38We approached the AMB again and the AMB advised them to find a way to continue to close it.

01:59They saw that the 500 declared in his permit in the DNR exceeded 1,651 to be exact.

02:57The Local Government of San Narciso and EMB inspected the pig farm again and ordered the closure of the pig farm.

03:06From more than 1,600 pigs, the owner moved the 800 pigs until all the pigs in the area were sold.
