00:22Emil, you experienced the harsh weather all day here in the province of Isabela.

00:26Earlier, the wind was strong and the rain was heavy.

00:29In some of the towns that we visited, pre-emptive evacuation was carried out,

00:34especially to the residents who live near the river.

00:41The strong wind brought by the typhoon Ofez in the province of Isabela

00:49was followed by heavy rain at 2 p.m.

00:52so it was evacuated to the residents of some barangays in the northern part of Tumawini.

00:57For the past typhoons, they were also in Lanta, near the Cagayan River.

01:02Some of their pets were also included in the evacuation.

01:05In Elisa, in the middle of the forest, the 11-month-old child and 6 siblings were included.

01:11My father brought us here because he was afraid that the tree might fall

01:17because of the strong wind.

01:20The heavy rain and strong wind were also experienced before noon in Ilagan City.

01:25Some of the barangays in San Vicente, near the river,

01:28where almost no residents can be found, while they continue to the community center.

01:34Rose Marina and her seven children have been in the evacuation center for four days.

01:39It's very hard because there are children.

01:42Maileen's situation is also the same.

01:44We can't afford to live here in the evacuation center because the water level in our house is high.

01:51We are afraid of the things we have upstairs.

01:54There might be a typhoon.

01:57The residents were not allowed to go home,

02:00especially when almost 50 houses were affected by the flood caused by the Nika typhoon.

02:05Some of our barangays have light materials,

02:09and our part is a lower part. We are a flooded-prone barangay.

02:13More than 300 families are still in the evacuation centers throughout Ilagan City.

02:18Cattle and calves were also evacuated near the Pinakanoan River.

02:23I brought my cattle here so that I can bring them closer.

02:26If the river rises, I will bring them closer.

02:31It's really important because without it, we don't have anything to live on.

02:37We can't find a place to live in the mountains.

02:40The Bakulud Bridge still can't pass because of the high water level in the river.

02:49The authorities are still monitoring the water level in the Pinakanoan River.

02:56They are expecting that it will rise because of the water coming from the mountains.
