00:00A residential area was also set on fire in Tandang Sora in Quezon City

00:04where more than 20 families were left homeless.

00:20after 18 residential establishments were set on fire

00:24in General Avenue, Barangay Tandang Sora at 11 p.m. last night.

00:29The fire spread quickly

00:31because of the nearby houses made of light materials.

00:35That's why some residents, like Helen, were not saved.

00:40We were sleeping earlier around 11 p.m.

00:44Then we heard a scream

00:46and I opened the window.

00:48The fire was big.

00:49It was right in front of our house.

00:51So I went downstairs.

00:53We all went downstairs.

00:54We were not saved.

00:56We were at the end of the exit.

00:59According to the barangay,

01:0124 families or 76 individuals were left homeless because of the fire.

01:07Residents were saved

01:09but it seems like a sad Christmas is coming for them.
