00:38The residents here are preparing their pockets after the Energy Regulatory Commission or ERC announced

00:45that the electricity bill will rise in January 2025.

01:11the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines paid more than P3 billion pesos

01:17in ancillary services last February.

01:19As a result, there was an increase of P12 per kilowatt-hour in Luzon within three months

01:25and six months in Visayas.

01:27In Mindanao, P3 per kilowatt-hour was increased within three months.

01:32The increase will reflect in the transmission charge that you will see in your electricity bill.

01:37The group of citizens first responded to the NGCP's request to protest the power rate hike.
